OIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY

 Dear OIA Members,

OIA General Assembly and Annual Meeting took place on April 19th, 2012 at OIA Hall . The meeting was presided over by Assembly Chairman Mr. Simon Acilacoglu. Mrs. Talin Sarafoglu and Mrs. Alin Donikyan served as english and armenian Secretaries of the Assembly, respectively.


After presentation of the reports by the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee; members were presented the financial status report by the Treasurer as confirmed to be accurate by the independent audit council on whose behalf Mr. Baret Dilacar delivered remarks. Subsequently, the new budget for the 2012 Fiscal Year was discussed and approved by the Assembly.

The Assembly voted to raise the number of the membership of the Board of Trustees from 9 to 11; while the number of the members of the Executive Committee was kept at 15.

Elections were held for open seats on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee.
