The Miraculous Birth of Christ is the Doorway to a New Life
The Blessed and Miraculous Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the reflection of God’s immense love for humanity. Those who celebrate the Birth of Christ feel in the depths of their hearts and souls the beginning of a New Life.
The Blessed Birth of Christ, our Lord, does not require from us a certain philosophical background to better understand God’s message. It is enough to read the words of St. John the Evangelist that convey to us a clear message of God’s Love for humanity.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Therefore, the Birth of Christ, our Lord, is the embodiment of the Incarnation of the Son of God. And we, as faithful, are called upon to not only grasp this miracle but above all, to lead a Christ-like life, a life full of God’s Love, a life enriched with service and sacrifice for humanity and for our beloved Motherland as well as the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The Birth of our Lord must be connected to the issues relevant in our lives today; for as we celebrate the Birth of Christ, our Lord, we then lead our lives to a New Life in Christ which rejects all aspects which weaken the foundations of morality in society. As the world progresses on many levels, humanity is also challenged a thousand fold. Therefore, the Armenian Apostolic Church will continue to preach the Christian faith while always holding firm and reliving the Christian values. Above all, our Church will hold firm the sanctity of the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
We live in a world dominated by materialism. As Christians, we are called to practice our faith in the realization of spiritual values as conveyed to us by our church forefathers.
Dear faithful in Christ,
Celebrate the Miraculous Birth of Christ, our Lord, and bless the lives of your children with the messages of the Gospel. Celebrate and bless your children with humanitarian values and with the aspirations to serve mankind. We live in a world where Christian spirituality is the most cherished treasure in the life of humanity. Man is not born to be an island, alienated from society. On the contrary, let us share our life and the gifts of life with all people. Let us shine with our kind deeds, stand firm for our Christian faith and contribute to those noble institutions which improve the life of humanity.
Celebrate the Birth of Christ, our Lord, with renewed hearts and spirits.
“Christ is Born and Revealed!
Blessed is the Revelation of Christ, our Lord!”
