NOTICE OF GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the General Assembly meeting of Members of the Organization of Istanbul Armenians will be held at OIA’s “HRANT DINK LECTURE HALL”, Friday, June 25, 2010, starting at 7:30 P.M. If there is no quorum of members, then the meeting will be adjourned to 8:30 P.M. on the same day (February 25, 2010) the number of members present at this adjourned meeting will constitute the required quorum as defined by the Bylaws for the OIA.
At this General Assembly meeting a proposed change to several sections of the OIA Bylaws will be taken into consideration.
Rather than casting your vote by written proxy, we request you to attend the meeting and express your views and cast your vote for or against the ratification of the proposed Bylaw changes. Your physical presence will also assure that a sufficient quorum exists for the consideration of the matter.
In the event that you will not be able to attend the meeting you may use the proxy procedure to have a voting member of OIA act as your representative and cast your vote, please call OIA office at (818) 342-0110.
