DELEYAMAN TO MAKE LOS ANGELES DEBUT AT THE ZIPPER CONCERT HALL ON FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2008.

Paris February 29, 2008 – Deleyaman will make their L.A. debut on May 2 at the Zipper Concert Hall in Downtown, Los Angeles.

This four member band from Europe has released three albums to date while creating a unique and mysterious sound which is effortlessly beautiful.

Their music is impossible to pigeon hole and probably in a genre of its own. The use of otherwordly instruments like the armenian duduk, the saz or the def alongside contemporary electronic instruments constitute a major part of Deleyaman’s music.

The vocals sometime sound like prayers or incantations and are sung in english, armenian, swedish and french. Deleyaman’s ethereal and atmospheric soundscapes often rock the listener into a blissful state of reverie.

The critics are unanimous in praising their unusual heavenly sound which is a blend of old and new, east and west, acoustic and electronic.
